Description
Take a Virtual Field Trip to North Cascades National Park! Join Ranger Michelle Ochoa and Washington's National Park Fund on a 45-minute journey into understanding more about a key native species in North Cascades National Park Service Complex, the Western Red Cedar or "Thuja plicata." This virtual field trip will take you along the Trail of the Cedars in the park to see these remarkable, old growth specimens. Learn about the many uses for cedar, past and present, and how nature has a way of teaching us new things and inspiring us. North Cascades National Park Complex and those who support our National parks are given the opportunity to enjoy and protect these extraordinary trees.
