Description
With simple, minor costume changes and slight shifts in posture, performer Dael Orlandersmith seamlessly and convincingly inhabits a variety of characters inspired by real denizens of the communities around Ferguson, Missouri as they reflect on race in America following the shooting of Michael Brown. From a young black man terrified that he too may die at the hands of a white police officer to a white man unafraid to spew racial slurs, Orlandersmith brings each character to life with humanity and crushing honesty.
