Sit up straight, spit out your gum and get ready for an "inspired, well-written and hilarious" ("The New York Times") catechism class like no other. After a five-year tour through more than 400 cities around the world, "Late Nite Catechism" is coming to the Laguna Playhouse in Laguna Beach. A hilarious solo performance that's part catechism class, part stand-up routine (think: Loretta Young meets Carol Burnett), this crowd-pleasing interactive comedy will take you back to the days of Latin Mass and meatless Fridays, when discipline meant a smack of the ol' ruler across the knuckles. Dressed in her head-to-toe habit, Sister will reward her "students" (that's you!) for correct answers with glow-in-the-dark rosaries and laminated saint cards. But mind your Ps and Qs, because naughty students may well find themselves on stage, sitting in a corner while reflecting on their sins!
